Who is eligible to apply? Any dependent of a current EANGUS or NGAME Member, who will be attending a college, university or technical school full time during the 2018/19 school year.
- Applicant’s Sponsor must be a current member of the Enlisted Association (EANGUS) or NGAME/NGAUS
- To renew or become a new member:
- Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or better, with strong leadership qualities, work ethic and a proven commitment to family and community.
- Applicant must provide a copy of their acceptance letter to the college they are attending.
Number of scholarships and amount: Four scholarships will be awarded, each worth $500. The scholarships are not renewable.
How are the scholarships awarded? Students must fill out the attached application and write an essay, which will be evaluated by a panel of judges. The 250 word essay will be titled: Selfless Service and What It Means to Me. Background: both the Army and the Air Force teach and live by core values. One value that is shared with both services is “Service before Self” or selfless service. Click here for the application form.

When will the Scholarship Committee announce its selection? 15 May 2018.
Funds for the scholarships are raised at the Annual NGAME Golf Tournament. NGAME members can also volunteer for the 2018 Scholarship Committee.
